The rice roll is the thing to get there. Parking is super easy with a huge lot of Service is exactly what'd you expect from a Chinese/Taiwanese spot. If you know you know. Very laid back vibes. No frills. Come through. Get a rice roll. Hot soy milk drink. And that's a good breakfast.

This place serves up some delicious Taiwanese breakfast foods! You order at the front and take a seat, I actually loved that on purchase there was no spot to add tip, respect to them! We ordered to sit in and grabbed and seat. These are the foods I tried out. Peanut and Soy Milk - This was delicious, came hot and the large was fairly large. Flavors were good, wasn't too sweet and overall delicious. (5/5) Salty Rice Roll with purple rice + added egg - I would definitely recommend this combo with the purple rice and egg. Flavors on point, it kind of falls apart if you take it out of the wrapper but overall it was delicious. Easy snacking. (5/5) Taiwanese Sausage Rice - I was surprised how good this was. The Taiwanese sausages had so much flavor. It was fatty goodness and everything was solid. Definitely better than many other restaurants. (5/5) Oyster Omelette - This dish takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes to make, they tell you at front. Personally this dish was not for me. I didn't like it one bit, it was just overall... weird. Maybe its my taste buds but yeah it's a no from me. (1/5) Overall this place is delicious and the service was good. Prices are quite reasonable, we spent around $38 for the 4 items above which I felt was reasonable. I think next time I will stick with the classics but I would be back!

Taiwanese breakfast is a must around the Arcadia / Monrovia area east of LA! I was here this past weekend as this spot was the closest for taiwanese breakfast by the hotel I was staying at. I went with my friend & her parents, and we shared a bunch of little things -- the purple rice salty fantuan, egg omelette, cold soymilk, and the green onion pancake. Their cold soymilk is really good and fresh -- probably the best I've had since being in Asia last year. The portion sizes here are pretty big and can be easily shared, especially if you want to try multiple things. Between the four of us, we had a decent sized breakfast just under $30 total. I ended up ordering a sesame paste mochi and another fantuan to go because I liked it so much and thought it would be a good snack on the road for later. There are other items on the menu I wish I tried if I wasn't so full, like the oyster omelette and the beef noodle soup. Service was really fast around 9:30am on a Sunday. Pay with cash to get 2% off your bill. Definitely will come back next time!
